Navigation software descriptions typically start by listing their functions. However, navigation relies heavily on the quality of the maps and the specific conditions of their use. The satisfaction with a navigation system is directly correlated with how well the maps meet the user's needs and requirements. The navigation quality is often determined by the data supplier that the publishers are "linked" to. There are various types of map data available, each with its own purpose, price, usage conditions, quality, and availability of extra services. There are maps designed for driving, as well as maps for pedestrians and cyclists. Some maps include traffic information, while others provide detailed sightseeing information. These maps can be either free or paid. Our software allows you to select and rate maps from different sources and publishers:

• OSM maps: These are free maps provided by the OpenStreetMap project.
• HERE maps: These are licensed maps provided by Nokia.
• CityGuide maps: These are compiled maps from local map makers brought to a uniform standard. Most of these maps undergo regular revisions and offer traffic services. License terms and conditions are specified by the data owners and usually provide a trial period and, in some cases, free non-navigational use.

All maps in our catalog come with brief descriptions and ratings. You have the flexibility to choose and use maps from different sources, ensuring comprehensive map coverage for your current location. In other words, you can simultaneously use different maps for the same country or region, selecting the ones that best suit your needs.

Traffic Jams, Navigational Messages, and Updates

An important feature of our GPS navigator is its instant navigational messaging service between drivers. If you witness a road accident, a mobile station of traffic police, a road hazard, or a traffic jam, you can mark these events on the map. Information about these events will be automatically sent to all drivers in the region. Similarly, you will receive such messages from other drivers. Furthermore, our software automatically collects and sends data about your vehicle's speed as you travel along your route. This data is processed on the cloud and sent back to drivers participating in the traffic data exchange as a file containing traffic data, which enables the generation of an optimal route that bypasses traffic jams. Some maps also support a revision service, which automatically updates information about changes in road circulation, new restricting signs, speed limits, and more, ensuring the creation of the quickest and safest route.
